Interactive Classes

Laboratories

Laboratories are spaces where the concepts, theories and workings of both hard-sciences and life-sciences come alive. Laboratory is a practical passage into the unexplored domains of the material world. Keeping up with the developments in the field of Science , our school houses state of the art laboratories to develop scientific temper among the students by engaging them in demonstrative learning. These laboratories are well-kept and administered by expert laboratorians who ensure safety of our children while conducting experiments. We ensure that these laboratories become the turf for new innovations for our students. The ultra modern Science Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry & Biology provide a platform for students to nurture the budding scientist. Along with a rich repository of 3-dimensional and working models to make learning a pleasurable and realistic experience, all Science Laboratories are equipped with latest hi-tech interactive smart boards for a virtual real life learning experience. Experiments in these labs are explained to and alone the students. The students of classes 6th to 10th use these labs extensively. Chemistry Lab : The Chemistry Lab is well equipped and designed to give it an international dimension. To enhance its utility lab is provided with the state-of-art devices like Distillation unit, Electronic weighing machine, Concealed gas line and the safety devices such Fire fighting equipments, First-Aid Kit etc Biology Lab : A well designed Biology Lab equipped with all modern facilities and required specimens including the Microscopes compatible with high-resolution digital camera. Physics Lab : The Physics Lab is well lit and ventilated equipped with all the latest equipments/apparatus to enable the students to perform the practicals of Light, Heat, Sound, Electricity and Magnetism.

Library

“Nothing is pleasanter than exploring a library.” School libraries are integral to today’s schools and teacher librarians will continue to have a key role in the education of their school’s students if they are seen to be adaptable to developments in learning, such as e-learning, in teaching, such as distance education for some schools, in technology, such as mobile internet technologies, in the internet, such as the use of visual search engines, and in librarianship, such as the increasing availability of digital information in a range of formats. Library offers a peaceful retreat for self-study amidst the robust and dynamic ecosystem of any educational institution. A rich repository of books, magazines, periodicals, and archives is inevitable for curious learners. We, at RP school, believe that the library is the training and nurturing center for curious minds who carry the potential of shaping the future course of society. Our library, in the campus, is packed with rich and updated reading material for various genres of learning and literature. Subject to the requirements of various departments and levels, the library provides abundant material to inculcate the habit of reading and develop a spirit of self-research amongst the students.

Transport Facilities

To ascertain that the journey to school and back home remains comfortable for our students, we have maintained a fleet of our own busses and cabs. Ferried by our trained and responsible drivers and managed by experienced conductors, the busses provide a safe drive to our students ensuring zero exhaustion along the way. The whole transport system is also given regular overhaul to keep up with the standard norms and also to ensure maximum safety to our students. Initially, the bus facility was available only for main Srinagar city. But now due to the pressing demand of the parents, the school has extended the bus facility to all the areas coming under its catchment. The buses are now plying to Chanpora, Jawahar Nagar , Saloora, Talibal, Bataproa, Nishat, Batamalo, Bemina areas etc. The bus facility is available to students for full academic session and is not provided for broken periods. The school buses can accommodate a certain number of students, so the decision of the school regarding accommodating children will be final, as per the capacity of the bus.
