Fire Safety Equipment including fire alarm, fire sprinklers, hose pipes and hydrant fire extinguishers are fixed at appropriate places in the building. CCTV cameras are fixed at strategic locations all across the building to monitor movement of visitors, staff and students. A Boundary wall of 8-10 feet height is in place. Complete power backup is provided with a Genset of 90KV. Positioning of guards at strategic points at both the gates is ensured. A reverse-osmosis (RO) water plant is installed to ensure pure and safe drinking water for our students and staff members. The same water is also used for cooking in the school cafeteria. Disaster Management Team is appointed with designated duties in case of eventualities or disasters. Apart from the fire extinguishing system being in place, exit plans for students are legibly displayed in all corridors to enable students in fast exit from the building. Mock drills are undertaken from time to time for staff and students. Class IV employees are also trained to manage exigencies. Safety in School Buses is the utmost priority of the school. Checklist for safety features is provided to teachers. Boarding and Deboarding is supervised by the accompanying teacher. Maids/Lady guards/Attendants are deputed on all routes. Infirmary A completely air conditioned infirmary with 8 beds is available to all students with separate sections for boys and girls. (Girls also have access to a dedicated wash room attached to the infirmary). A qualified Doctor and Nurse are available to provide first-aid and tend to the sick or injured children. Medical check-ups are carried out regularly and all medical records are made available to parents, via our online E-governance system. Cafeteria Students enjoy a host of nutritious snacks and beverages at the school cafeteria. The school Doctor and Nurse monitor the quality of ingredients used by the contractor. All snacks are cooked in the cooking area attached to the cafeteria under hygienic condition.
Sports and games are an integral part of our curriculum where students participate and excel in a range of activities. Qualified coaches impart intensive and exclusive training to our children in various extensive sporting activities. Team games have significantly benefitted the children in being self-confident, proactive, energetic and chasing their dream of winning and participating in healthy competition. Moreover, leadership, responsibility, discipline, confidence, loyalty and team spirit are largely instilled through participation in sports. Students are encouraged to take up any of the following sports:: Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Tennis, Skating, Taekwondo, Volley-ball, Table Tennis, Yoga, Gymnasium, Cricket, Hockey, Chess. A large play field is provided with facilities such as 100 metres track to conduct track events and pitches to conduct field events. The field also has facilities for outdoor sports such as Cricket, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, Badminton etc. There is a separate basketball court and two Lawn Tennis courts. For our Pre-Primary and Primary students, we have two large outdoor play areas . The Rides such as slides, swings, climbers, etc are manufactured by one of the best suppliers in India. The play area available is to keep students energized, enhance their gross motor skills and keep them excited and happy. Skating Rink Our children experience a sense of space and freedom and are able to channelize their energies and invigorate their spirit. For senior students, there is a large skating rink which has produced national level players from our school. Air-conditioned Gymnasium To popularise the importance of physical fitness among our children, a Gym (Life Fitness equipment) has been set up with . Girls and boys can avail separate training facilities with qualified trainers. Yoga and Meditation Hall Yoga classes reinforce the good health regime and are instrumental for all-round growth and spiritual development of our children. Meditation with soothing music gives peace of mind to our children and energy to face the day’s curriculum. Indoor Free-Play Activity Hall An indoor free-play air-conditioned activity hall has been designed for children from Nursery to Class II, so that they can play with interactive teaching aids, Montessori equipment and apparatus for role play, to sharpen their creative powers and enhance their motor and cognitive skills.
An air-conditioned Multi Utility Hall with a seating capacity of 200 people is used for school functions and festive occasions. An air-conditioned audio-visual hall is available for students for debates, lectures, discussions, seminars, group classes etc. It is also smart-class enabled with a computer, projector, interactive board, mics and speakers. Best of the value driven, Oscar Winning English & Hindi movies are shown to children.
The school has duplex library which is very well stocked with more than 20835 books – fiction, non-fiction, autobiographies, biographies, subject-related encyclopedias, etc. Students spend quality time undertaking reference work, selecting their favourite author, browsing through new titles and updating themselves through a host of journals and magazines covering commerce, finance, science, general knowledge, politics, nature, art, sports and entertainment. It has computers for reference work and provides children with a quiet and comfortable environment for reference work. To reach out to classrooms, the junior school has initiated classroom libraries for Classes I and II which consist of fiction and non-fiction books. These libraries are utilised by students under the supervision of the Class Teacher. This is in addition to the school library.
Giving wings to creativity, students have been provided with Art and Craft studios which are well furnished and equipped so that the children can express themselves freely in any art form such as coloring, drawing, sketching, painting, sculpture, craftwork, etc. The Art Studio is adorned with Paintings, Artefacts, Pottery, Portraits etc. made by the students.
Our state of the art labs (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Science ) are suitably furnished and equipped with the relevant equipment, apparatus, computer, whiteboard and projector. Safety of children being of paramount importance, all the three labs have been provided with two exits. Chemistry lab is specially equipped with hand showers at each unit to combat acid/chemical burns in case of exigency. A new addition to this is a General Science lab for the Middle and Secondary school students.
The Primary and Senior wings are equipped with relevant teaching aids. Students are always motivated to perceive learning as fun-filled, analytical, practical and exciting.
Language lab is equipped with computers, projectors, interactive boards and speakers to screen relevant movies or play music applicable to the class level to enhance speaking and listening skills and conduct ASL programmes.
Music Studio: Musical Evenings are organized every month and parents are the most important part of the audience in each and every event. The passionate & skilled music teacher grooms children regularly to raise children’s talent to another level. Their performances mesmerize music lovers. Every month Parents are an audience to children’s potential to sing melodiously. Children explore various options in Instrumental Music, too. They opt to learn to play guitar/harmonium, sitar, Congo, Duffli, Bongo, tabla & drum sets. Dance Studio: is maintained well. The wall-length mirror is fixed so that dancers can perfect their own technique. Dancers are able to see their own angles in the mirror and correct themselves under efficient Dance Gurus. A good sound system gives a great time to passionate dancers. Dining Hall: To inculcate mindful and healthy eating habits students are provided proper grooming. Dining etiquettes are part of the school routine to reinforce eating manners & socially acceptable behavior so that they show respect & courtesy to fellow diners. to. All of these occasions will be communicated time to time.
Take child to the main office and sign an application stating reason for your child being late to school. The child can then go to class.
It is rare that parents are late to collect their child from school. In case of some emergency we ask that school is informed and the expected delay time is intimated. If a child is not collected and no reason is given he/ she will remain in the school premises. If a child is still not collected, the school will contact the parent.
If you need someone else to come to school to collect your child, kindly speak to the class teacher in the morning or leave a WhatsApp message alongwith the picture of the representative of the family who collects the child to Ms. Poonam Gulati in the admin.
