Library

Library the word comes from the Latin Word "Liber" which means books. It is used because libraries traditionally were largely collections of books. Each letter in the word "Library" gives out valuable meaning and thought for us: L-Means learning centre. I-Information centre. B-Brain storming. R-Reading centre. A-Attitude centre. R-Reference centre. Y-Means yellow pages of the world. The first floor of the junior library opens for KG to V standard class student readers. Here books are classified according to their standard level and also their needs with entire satisfaction, many collections of children story books like such as fairy tales, table stories, and pictorial stories panchatantra stories, moral stories, etc... For hearing and enjoying musical sound books (pop-up books, international books) also available with overall collection of 25,000 books. The second floor of the senior library open for VI std to XII class student readers to their standard level more than 56 subject titles of books available with overall collection of 8924 books and secured a lifelong source of pleasure instruction and Inspiration. The Library is open to all the members of the senior secondary school on every working day from 9.30 am to 4.30pm, Apart from that we have a library period from I standard to XII standard in their weekly class time table. For updating worldwide knowledge we have provided tri-lingual daily newspapers, periodicals, magazines for our student's readers to update and improve their knowledge by using the library.

English Lab

"Communication is a tool for everyday life" As the importance of English language is well-known,we faculties of English Department mainly focus our attention on "Communication Skills and LSRW(Listening,Speaking,Reading & Writing) Skills. English Lab is used for teaching,Learning through teacher's console and language learning software.It acts as a platform for learning,Practicising and producing language through interactive lessons and communication mode of teaching. "Education is the defense of a nation and English is the chief weapon of a nation" "A room without books is a body without a soul" In our English lab learners learn the objective such as good linguistic competence through accuracy in grammar,Pronounciation and Vocabulary,where children swim in the ocean of literature and fancy fairy tales to engulf a wider knowledge in English.

Computer Lab

COMPUTER LAB INFRASTRUCTURE Technology has made our lives crisp and brisk, qualitatively enhanced it in various ways and computers, as we are able aware, are the most visible benefits of technology. They can improve and aspect of life substantially. Our computer centre thus has a huge contribution in the modern studies of our students, faculty, Members and academic staff. In addition to the computing resourcefulness offered by computers in today's times, computers also connect us globally. Computers open the doors to vast virtual space full of extensive information on almost every subject. Hence, our computer centre is equipped with computer with latest configuration and internet connection with excellent speed, both being operated using the latest software. We have two laboratories(senior and junior lab) that come under the umbrella of our computer centre and demo room and these contain a total of over 75 pentium system that are networked using the windows NT. NIIT IT WIZARD PLUS is a product of NIIT designed to help the young, learners get friendly with computers get friendly with computers and use them in their day - to - day life. The product is based on the latest technology trends and follows a carefully-researched,task-based model that makes learning meaningful by relating every concept with the real life. Technological content increases with each class/standard which is smoothly integrated with the school's syllabus more importantly,the technological content is demystified made child friendly challenging and rewarding experiences.

The VVNKM Sr.Sec.School is exceptional in its service to make the learning process effective and meaningful.After the experience of the EDUCOMP Smart Digital Board Teaching which continues here in classes LKG to X, develops the whole personality of the child,Classrooms are colorful and huge with ideal teachers-student ratio.Technology oriented smart classes with 46 EDUCOMP Digital Boards were provided for interative audio-visual teaching,which make learning a pleasure.The entire program is aimed to provide the right platform to excel not only in board exams but also secure top ranks in the competitive exams.
