Visakha Valley School was established in the year 1968 by the great stalwart and visionary Shri.Abid Hussain, I.A.S., the then District Collector and Chairman, Board of Governors, Visakha Valley School with the noble vision of imparting quality education to the citizens of Visakhapatnam and other cities. On the firm foundations laid by the founder members, Chairmen and past principals, the school has grown in size and strength over 48 glorious years and is today much sought after for admissions. Affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, it is one of the premier co-educational English Medium Schools with classes from LKG to XII with commerce and science streams in plus 2.

                The school is located on an expanse of 33.4 acres of land in the heart of the city but is seemingly away from all the noise, din and hectic city life. Nestled in a serene valley with lush green hills on either side, the uninterrupted expanse of the blue sky above and the sea on the other side, the school provides a conducive environment for both teaching and learning to take place with ample opportunities for holistic growth and development.
