Transport

VPCS operates its own buses as well as transport provided by external agengies on specific routes covering almost whole of Bhind. Route planning is done only after considering factors like availability of transport requests by the parents, availability of seats, common bus stops, motorable roads etc. While the buses are run at the request of the parents, security of the students is the prime concern. Every bus is having a trained and eligible driver and a conductor on duty. All our drivers are well experienced, periodically trained on school bus safety rules and regulations. A first aid kit duly checked and monitored by the school medical advisor for the validity of medicines is always there in every bus, under the control of the transport incharge. All buses are manufactured as per safety norms and undergo stringent maintenance checks. Grooming check of the drivers/conductors, maintenance snag records, monthly inspection of buses and routine maintenance are few procedures followed to ensure smooth operations.

Library

The primary function of the library at VPCS is to implement, enrich and support the educational goals of learners and educators. The library provides a wide range of materials at various levels of sophistication with a diversity of appeal and different points of view. The primary objectives of library material selection are: To provide materials that will stimulate students' acquisition of factual knowledge, development of literary appreciation, aesthetic values and ethical standards To provide a source of information which, when consulted, may enable pupils to make informed judgments To provide materials containing a wide range of views on issues so that students may develop the practice of critical reading and thinking To provide materials representative of religious, ethnic and cultural groups and their contribution to the Indian heritage.

Interactive Smart Class

Quality education is an essential requisite in todays competitive environment. Technology has affected us in every aspect. The smart classes is a modernized method of education in Indian education scenario which provides quality education to students by helping them in better concept formation, concept elaboration, improvement in reading skills and academic achievement. Learning is not how much one can cramp up. It’s rather the knowledge that remains after one forgets what he/she learned in schools. Thus we emphasize on learning the concepts with the help visuals and activities. To keep such view the smart learning was introduced.

Laboratories

When it comes to science, effective teaching and learning will involve a perpetual state of show and tell. Keeping this in mind VPCS has combined classroom teaching with laboratory experiments so that our students are able to grasp each and every concept thoroughly. It is also believed that laboratory teaching and experiments that are conducted in schools, will help encourage a deeper understanding in children. Children are able to retain knowledge for much longer when they can see the experiments being performed in front of them. We have the best-designed, spacious, sophisticated and safe laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computers. These laboratories are equipped with the most modern apparatus. These encourage students to learn through experiment and research work.

Facilities

VPCS is spread over a vast lush green area of 10 acres on the skirts of Gauri Sarovar in the heart of city. With a state of the art infrastructure, the school avails all modern facilities: doll room, play room, activity room, music room, dance room audio-visual system, interactive smart class, laboratories and library as per the requirement of latest education pattern. It also offers the students an opportunity to excel themselves in archery, fencing, skating, table-tennis, music, dance, art & craft and many more to go beyond academics. Smt. Vidyavati Memorial Public Trust has also set milestones in the field of Education by providing these institutions to the district.
