Sports

The sports curriculum at VPCS aims to provide a comprehensive program for development through physical activities by emphasizing the relationship between physical, intellectual and emotional well being of students. It involves outdoor games like Archery, Skating, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Cricket, and Athletics and indoor games like Fencing, Chess, Carom, Table -Tennis, and Yoga.

The objective is to train as well as provide students with an understanding of the rules and strategies of each game, and to render opportunities to participate in Inter and Intra school activities.

Performing Arts

When in modern times, everyone talks of all round development of child and then if performing arts have not been taught, it shall surely be an incomplete development of a child. Performing arts constitutes an integral part of curricular activity for the development of the wholesome personality of learners.

In this context, it becomes imperative to add music, dance, art & craft and theatre to our curriculum and contribute to the development of young learners.

Academic Activities

Activities in present education system have secured a prominent position so cannot be given less weightage.

VPCS considers role of activities as the most important tool for learning and development. Either it is related to sports or arts or academics. Each subject has a pre-designed activity to perform during the lesson so as to have experiential leaning.
