St. Ignatius High School, Gumla, was established in 1934 and is managed by the Fathers of the Society of Jesus popularly known as Jesuits. It is named after St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus. It is a religious minority school aided by government. It is affiliated to Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi.
