Choice And Infrastructure

SBPS with its large campus has ample space for a multitude of sports. Trained coaches assisted by multi-talented teachers encourage children to make personal sporting choices from football, cricket, athletics, basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, hand ball, kho-kho, swimming & shooting. The students are coached well in the games of their choice and as they raise their standards of play, they participates in inter-house and inter-school tournaments to state and national level championships.

School Blocks

Silver Bells Public School is a co-educational institution and offers a pollution-free, eco-friendly environment with beautiful building an example of aesthetic architecture. The building is so designed as to provide spacious, well lit and airy class rooms, a multipurpose hall and an administrative block in keeping with every facet of a student’s life. The campus consists of two blocks. Primary and Senior school has its separate, independent and self sufficient building. In totality, the school boasts of about 95 classrooms, each having between 40 and 50 students. Every part of the school is unique in its own right and has its own distinctive charm. Each room has been designed aesthetically, keeping in mind the age group of class. Furniture also has been designed very tastefully, again the user age is main criteria.

Laboratories

Silver Bells Public School has 8 State-of-the-Art laboratories that are equipped with the latest and most modern facilities. All labs are renovated and upgraded every year, all in a continuous drive to keep Silver Bells Public School at the fore-front of new and emerging technologies in every single field. SBPS has 2 computer laboratories, which have latest machine and software. We ensures that practical knowledge is placed on an equal footing with theoretical knowledge for the all-round development of the students. For this purpose, the school has laboratories in numerous disciplines, which provide in-depth knowledge to its pupils. The student-friendly atmosphere in these laboratories helps to enrich the overall personality of the students through motivation and reinforcement. Computer Labs The school has 2 computer laboratories, one each for primary and senior school students, accessible to all during school hours. These laboratories are equipped with advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software to cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. Senior school laboratory also caters to students learning C++ in classes XI and XII. Same laboratory also caters needs of students of class IX & X learning Oracle database programming. Students of classes VI to VIII also use the same laboratory. Primary school students enjoy privilege of having independent laboratory equipped with latest machines. Resource Center At the Resource Center, there is supervised Internet accessibility available to the faculty members and to the students. Students get a chance to explore materials for their projects and presentations. This center also has a central server for all digital contents for all classes and subjects. Audio-Visual Center A full-fledged Audio-Visual Center, equipped with OHP, TV, VCR, satellite network, DVD & MP3 Player and a number of Audio/Video CDs and DVDs ROMs, provide a practical and interactive learning environment. The center also has facilities of language laboratory. Mathematics Laboratory School has well developed and equipped mathematical Lab. Which is designed to faster mathematical interest, Awareness, Skill building, Positive attitudes and learning by doing among the students. Students can gain a better understanding of concepts by different tools by performing relevant activities i.e. models, charts, projects, quiz etc. This enrichment is facilitated among students with the help of experienced teacher. Language Lab The English Language Lab aims to enhance proficiency in Spoken English through its emphasis on activity based learning. The Lab organizes a host of contests right through the year to promote confidence-building and personality development. The Language Lab trains students in Spoken English through a well defined curriculum and focus on the skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing. General Science Laboratories Once students are tuned to the General Science Labs, and proceed to the Senior Classes, the specialized labs do the same function, but, in much greater depth, since they are also designed to take care of the needs of the students for the Board Exams. Experiments in these labs are explained to and done by the students, with care given to intricate details of each of them, so that once imbibed, the details remain in the young minds for future times.

Libraries

Silver Bells Public School has 2 separate libraries for the junior and senior schools. Both the libraries have nearly 16,000 books. Every year this number increases by adding latest titles. There are separate sections ranging from textbooks and reference books, sections for to fiction and general knowledge, hobby-related books, books on short stories, drama, poetry and other miscellaneous topics. Apart from regular books, number of journals and magazines have also been subscribed. Libraries are operated on the OPEN EXCESS SYSTEM where in a child, can pursue and pore over a wide range. To encourage reading habits classes are allowed specific lessons supervised by teachers.

Music Room

Silver Bells Public School, following its ideology of promoting extra-curricular activities along with the curriculum, has a big music centre. The Centre, right from its inception, has been a success with the students. This Centre introduces the students to the wonderful world of music in its own unique way and, at the same time, it helps them to unwind from the daily routine of studies and exams. It gives them a unique opportunity to learn Indian Classical, Western Classical, Vocal and Instrumental Music along with Dance right from the basics and gradually progressing to mastering their talents. An array of musical instruments, such as the sitar, tabla, harmonium and keyboard is available at the Centre.

Art Room And Work Experience Centre

The school provides facilities for learning various Visual Art forms and also has provision for work experience. This section is well equipped & provides opportunities to students to develop various skills related to different art forms including craft work, pottery, painting, portrait, sculpture & work experience.

Auditorium

Silver Bells Public School has a auditorium on 1st floor in senior school building. It is equipped with the most modern and state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities. It has a seating capacity of nearly 300. Various functions, specially literary activities viz. inter house, inter-school competitions, plays and dances etc. are organized here. This auditorium is also the venue of various workshops seminars and talks organized in school time to time.

Sports Complex

To nurture the multifarious talents of students and to produce versatile personality in today’s high-tech era, school has got constructed a new ‘Sports Complex’ which includes a state-of-the-art standard Swimming Pool, Lawn-Tennis Court and two Basketball Courts, Shooting Range and Gymnasium . Apart from these Silver Bells Public School has grounds and courts for cricket, football, table tennis, badminton, Kho-kho, Volleyball, Athletics ect. Special coaches have been appointed to guide the learners. Every student is given opportunity to avail all these facilities. Faculty members also make use of these facilities.
