PRE-PRIMARY

It indeed is important to lay the foundation of a child's education with care. It is the way in which the school is introduced to the child that makes their interest going and shapes up their future. At the Shiksha Valley School, emphasis is laid on the optimal development of each child by giving them a conducive environment. The Pre-Primary section has been designed with special additions that make for a combination of formal and informal education.

Keeping in mind that human beings are driven by psychological need of self-construction, the curriculum for the pre-primary toddlers are designed on models of early childhood development. Our lessons are comprised of indoor as well as outdoor learning which also include the talent teachings like singing, dancing, recitation, playing as a part of the learning methodology. To facilitate the growth seeking behavior of the children, the Pre-schools are designed with utmost care giving them a prepared environment where only age-appropriate materials are put up. This takes care of the child's mental and behavioral development according to their age.

Emphasis is also given on the development of Motor Skills through Manipulative Corner, Sketching/Scribbling etc.
Each child is involved in the learning of Large Motor Skills like Music & Movement, Monitored Games, Mass Drills etc to inculcate faster learning through group efforts. In the second year of Pre-schooling, children are made to hone their Fine Motor Skills like drawing, writing, pasting pictures, painting etc. The focus remains on the development of child's thinking, learning and promoting their range of skills.

PRIMARY

After the children become comfortable in the pre-primary environment, they are introduced to a more formal world of education, The Primary classes marks as the hallmark of the beginning of activity-based learning for the children. The children are encouraged to enhance their knowledge in the classroom, as well as explore their thoughts and ideas by adapting themselves to new environments of library, games rooms, i-pad Lab etc, Emphasis is laid on the refining of fine motor skills, mental development, physique as well as on an active lifestyle.

Children in Shiksha Valley School are exposed to environment where the concept of interdependence is taught through group assignments. They are made to connect with people, nature and animals to establish connection and learn about interdependence. A well stocked library is made available with the latest collection of children's books to satisfy the learner's curiosity and also to build their vocabulary. Children are encouraged to ask questions and enhance their knowledge on an everyday basis!

MIDDLE SCHOOL

The Middle School education is the time when children are made to strike balance between academic and co-curricular activities. This is a fast-growing stage where little scholars pick-up everything they come across and thus a very controlled and assessed environment is created to nurture them into better individuals.Inculcating life-skills and values forms the basis of their paradigm of education while letting them be creative in their art and skills.

Every Child is given enough opportunity to explore their curiosity through Audio-Visual aid of the Smart/Digital Classroom, as well as to stimulate their innovative ideas through participatory classrooms. They are provided with myriad games and sports facilities, well-equipped laboratories and other infrastructural facilities for them to identify their areas of interest and potential. Introduction of formal assessment process is one of the important aspects of these classes which induces seriousness in their education. The Middle School classes brings in discipline, skill development and a thorough academic indulgence for your child's optimal development.

SECONDARY SCHOOL

In the final years of Elementary Classes, focussed education is imparted to the children for the best development of their future. In these classes children start showing maturity in their conduct and behaviour. Here our focus is towards sharpening their academic as well as co-curricular skills for an all-round development. Systematic grooming of each child and counselling sessions help them identify their subjects and areas of interests, They are guided to make choices for their career and achieve desired goals in future, Children in Shiksha Valley School are provided with ample opportunities to try new ideas and excel in them. The willingness to think and try new ideas is induced by our experienced teachers.

A better comprehension, diligence and quest to excel in their field is imparted to these children. Holistic approach is made to teach children about accepting the mistakes and take them as lessons.
