Remedial And Prep Classes

Not every student learn at the same pace and we definitely do not ignore the fact. Our remedial classes have been designed for students who are facing difficulty in understanding any topic in any subject. Here, the students can share their problems openly and clarify all their doubts.

Food and Nutrition

The school mess is a central place for all students to have breakfast. Boarders are served their meals in the School Mess as per the schedule. Pure vegetarian meals are provided to the students by the school mess which is managed by an able and qualified Mess In- charge. Proper care is taken to provide the students a balanced & calorific diet. Members of the staff also eat with the students for supervision during meals. A high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained in the dining hall and in the modern well equipped kitchen of the mess. Every month a new menu is planned by the School’s Mess Committee that includes members of the Students’ Council, the boarders, the teacher In-charge and the Mess Manager.

Sick Bay

Sangam School of Excellence has a well equipped sick bay (infirmary) that provides first aid to the students in need, under the supervision of full time medical attendant .There are four beds and all the necessary equipments and facilities to address the immediate health needs while in school. A qualified and experienced Medical attendant is available on campus, 24*7 to manage and assess any health issues that may arise during school hours. In the event of an emergency requiring medical attention, the student will be shifted to the nearest hospital and parents are informed of the same. A medical record of each student is maintained by the School Medical Attendant. Basic first-aid kits have been made available in high risk areas such as the laboratories as well as on the school buses.

Multimedia Labs

What is a modern school without conventional multimedia labs with state-of-the-art equipment? We believe that that our students should be techno-savvy and to make that true, we have separate multimedia labs for both our junior and senior classes. The multimedia labs offer considerable time and freedom to our students to learn with computers. We also have well equipped audiovisual facilities in our labs. The big LCD screen makes it easy for faculties to teach an entire group easily in a single session. In a way, that process fuses the traditional education system with enough flexibility for students to interact. The integration of multimedia is however, a conventional step to make the teaching more effective. When students can see things practically happening in front of them, they learn quickly and are able to grasp the concepts much more comfortably.

Transport

The need for safe passage of each child to school and back home is of paramount importance to us. To ensure safe travel the school has its own fleet of school buses designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers and personnel sensitized to the needs of small children. For supervision and monitoring a transport attendant is on board throughout the journey. Mobile phones have been provided in each bus that ensures efficiency in terms of service and better communication in case of emergencies. Besides ensuring the implementation of the safety norms, all staff on the bus is well trained in first aid and emergency management.
