The most important goal of the SKY early childhood curriculum is to help children become enthusiastic learners. This means encouraging children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try out their ideas and to form their own thoughts. The goal is to help children become independent, confident and inquisitive learners.
The Primary Years Program includes all students in grade 1-5. It offers a comprehensive, inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning. It provides a model for concurrency in learning and incorporates guidelines on student learning styles, teaching methodologies and assessment strategies.
The Middle Years Program includes all students in grades 6-10. It provides a framework of learning that encourages students to become creative, critical and reflective thinkers. Students learn to make practical connections between their studies/ subjects and the real world.
The Senior Years Program caters for students in grade 11 & 12. It provides a rigorous and stimulating learning environment which prepares students for future opportunities, study, work and life.
