About the Founder

Dr. Afsar Khan a visionary in the field of education is the founder and director of (WIES) Winchester International English School located at Jatwada road, Harsul Aurangabad. Dr. Afsar Khan hails from Aurangabad. He did his schooling from Govt. Chelipura High School, Aurangabad and completed his graduation B.Sc. (Hons) from Maulana Azad College, Aurangabad, B.Ed. from Marathwada College of Education, M.Ed. from Govt. College of Education, M.A from Govt. College and Ph.D. from BabaSaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. From humble beginnings, he began his professional career from Holy Cross English High School, Aurangabad and taught Science and Mathematics for one year. He moved to St. Francis De Sales High School, Aurangabad and served the institution for four years as Science and Mathematics teacher. He was then appointed as Principal, Model High school, Aurangabad and worked in the institution for 5 years.
