Kindergarten

Entering a Kindergarten classroom is like entering a world specially prepared for the ease and motivation of the child. We create an environment that’s favorable to meet their educational and social needs. The classroom atmosphere is free with no assigned tables.

In the initial years, the child’s brain undergoes major development at a rapid pace. With an aim to incorporate maximum learning at this stage, we have constructed a unique curriculum for K1 and K2. The tiny tots of our VCS hold enormous talent waiting to be sparked through just the right push that they need. We focus on strengthening the foundation of learning by encouraging curiosity and independent thinking in the classrooms. Each child is motivated to ask questions and experience the learning first hand.

Middle School

From classes VI to VIII (Middle school level), students build on the foundations laid in the primary school by facing new challenges through communication, reasoning, and problem-solving. VCS aim is to provide a broad-based curriculum that facilitates an in-depth study of the key elements of English, Tamil, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Art, Abacus, Computer Studies, Physical Education and Health Education.

Primary and middle school students can actively take part in different school clubs such as Maths club, Science club, English club, and Tamil club and club activities are held weekly which makes them understand their subjects in an easy way. Also, it enhances their speaking skills, instill confidence to speak in front of a crowd and enhance children’s self-esteem. VCS doesn’t focus on curriculum alone, it gives equal importance to extra-curricular activities such as Yoga, Karate, Silambam, Keyboard music, Barathanatyam, Western Dance, Mime, Chess, are offered for all students with no special fees.

Overall, VCS provides a joyful, motivating a learning environment where every child is valued. We seek to develop the aptitudes, skills, and knowledge which will help students achieve their true potential through praise, encouragement and high expectations of work and behavior.
