YOGA

We impart training in Yoga, the ancient Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, which according to scientific studies help increase students’ physical strength, flexibility and balance. There is ample proof that Yoga has improved individual student capacities for focusing, concentration and retention of new information. This in turn will have a positive impact on students’ social and psychological development as expressed in higher self-esteem, confidence and efficacy. This will stand them in good stead when they come face to face with the challenges thrown at them by life beyond the secure confines of the school or home.

TAEKWONDO

Taekwondo classes are one of extra-curricular activities offered in our school. One of the major benefits of taekwondo for children is that the kids enjoy the physical exercise and gain all round physical fitness. Students learn complicated movements which help their concentration and memory. They also learn to face confrontation and fear and powering through wooden boards develops self esteem and self confidence. And through this training children in taekwondo get physically and mentally stronger which helps them in daily life.

SCOUTS And GUIDES

The Bharat Scouts & Guides is a voluntary, non-political, educational movement for young people. The purpose of the Movement is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of local, national and international communities. Our school makes sure that the students imbibe strict physical training and philosophy of service through our Scouts and Guides programme.

ACADEMICS

This is an English Medium CBSE School. The course of study follows by syllabus of the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. This prepares the pupils for the All India Senior Secondary School Examination.

The subjects taught in the school are English, Malayalam, Hindi [third language] Mathematics, and General science, Social Studies, Computer, Music, Drawing and Painting, G.K & Moral Science. Sports and Games, Socially Useful Productive Work [SUPW], Dance, Yoga, Taekwondo etc. are also provided.

CURRICULAM

The course of study prepares students for the All India Senior Secondary School examination.
