The Art Department is the proud department of UPS. Here the artistic talents and creativity of each student is polished and improved. They are trained and expertized under the skilled guidance of our teachers. They are trained in the field of glass painting, Oil painting, Water colour painting, Panel decoration, Pot making, Flower arrangement, Ceramic work etc. They are even trained to make figures by sculpting. The students of Art have represented the school at state level several times.
Yoga and Pranayam tends to raise the curtain of ignorance and other social evil. Students practise relaxing exercises which increase their concentration. The School students have been practising many aasanas and formations. The School has trained Yoga Instructors.Our Taekwondo class focuses on improving children’s basic motor and listening skills. Our program enhances positive development in a fun and motivating way. Your child will be exposed to positive social interaction. They will learn how to work with others and to follow directions from their instructors. They will also learn basic Taekwondo techniques in a fun environment! The discipline of Taekwondo will give them self confidence, physical strength, agility, focus, a sense of achievement, and much more!

Physical Training and Games form an important part of the school activities. Extensive facilities for games and sports exist in the school campus. Besides a football/cricket ground, there is a special court for basketball too. Provision for indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom etc also exists.All the sports activities are supervised by full time trained P.T. Instructors. Besides this, the school has also appointed part time coaches for different games and their is specialised training for Yoga, Skating and Taekwondo.
The department has constantly maintained the rhythmic skill of our students. To enhance and increase the productivity of our students, the department instrumental (Guitar, Sitar, Violin, Mandolin, Synthesizers and Tabla.) According to the Board, it is an optional subject for both science and commerce stream. We also enhance the musical skills of the students in Western Music (Drum, Spanish guitar). We have a grand orchestra of students from all classes. Music is not just a source of entertainment it is much beyond that. Keeping this in mind, the Department organizes National level seminars and workshops.
