CLASSROOM

WE HELP THE CHILD TO THINK FOR HERSELF, WILL FOR HIMSELF AND ACT FOR HIMSELF. School is equipped with ICT classrooms that enable the child to visualise the concepts studied. Children understand concepts better using the visuals in the classroom. Themes selected at each level of study are integrated with the ICT experience and teachers use visual learning as an effective tool to build on the understanding of the child. This way the interest of the child is also sustained in the classroom.

Smart Class

The school has made available to the students a powerful smart class application engine that allows the teachers to view room session as per syllabus from kindergarten to secondary class. The purpose is to make the learning easier and faster by bringing technology.

SCHOOL LIBRARY

St. Xavier's School - Dharahara feels Proud to have a very rich and high quality library which- is airy, spacious with a spiritual ambience making it a perfect place to study. The library has sufficient and variety of books on the required subjects to greet the necessities of the learners and teachers. It has been recently updated with access to the electromagnetic information and Comprehensive CD ROMs.A number of magazines and newspapers are subscribed, to enhance the general awareness of the students. Library periods are integrated into the regular timetable of the school. Storytelling, book reading and library week are organized on a regular basis.

SCHOOL LABORATORY

The school has six separate laboratories for Math, Computer & Composite lab. All of them are well equipped with modern Technology apparatus for covering all experiment, cater to the requirement for the coverage of syllabus from std.VI to XII (Science). A well equipped Computer Laboratory is available to make the student computer –confident. It consist of 40 system with well equipped networking facility, internet facilities and all the student including the Faculty members practice in the things using Internet. Maths lab : School is having separate mathematics laboratory in which all the basic principles of maths are verified & Student receive proper & satisfactory knowledge of the respective subject by learning & Doing method.

It has well equipped, spacious rooms with adequate modern facilities in an eco-friendly environment.There are separate staff rooms for male and female teachers. Separate lavatory facilities for boys and girls are available. The School has adequate drinking water facilities mounted on each floor equipped with water filter and cooling systems. There are adequate safety measures like CCTV cameras and fire extinguishers placed in the school building. Each floor has four exit points.There are different sections especially designed to cater to the modern day academic excellence requirements of young students.

PLAY GROUND

St. Xavier's School - Dharahara believes "Healthy body breeds healthy mind" and show diligence for perfection in everything, including sports. Children need physical activities as much as they need high academic achievements to ensure synchronous physical, emotional, intellectual and academic growth. St. Xavier's School - Dharahara has a big play Ground in school campus. Every child gets an opportunity to participate in competetive athletics and Co-Scholastics activities. On every Saturday inter House Competetions are organised to assess their performance in the respective areas.
