The Congregation of The Carmelite Religious was founded by Mother Veronica of the Passion on July 16, 1868 , in France . The Jalgaon city was in dire need of an English medium school , and the request for the same was made by the then District Collector , Shri. N. Rama Rao and Mr. Suresh Jain .
