St. Joseph Day School was established in the year 1996 in Howrah, India by Kazi Safikul Islam. The school comprises of two school buildings separated by an intersection. The school is a private institution that admits students from all religious denominations, caste and creed. It has now become a famous ICSE school in Howrah.Even though it has been in existence for more than 20 years it has always maintained a standard of un-impeachable integrity and has made sure that each and every student that passes through its doors faces the outside world with a sound character.The school is run by the Governing Body of St. Joseph Day School, Howrah, involving the total community of staff, management, students and parents in a programme designed to lead their holistic development and transformation into an aware, self-sufficient body of people living up to their civic and social  responsibilities.
