About Us

St. Ann’s Public School, Cherthala, is one of the prestigious schools in the township situated in the very heart of greenery. The School is under the management of the C.M.C. Sisters, Vimala Province Ernakulam, one of the first indigenous Religious Congregation branches, The Congregation of the Mother of Carmel, founded by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara. He was a great visionary, social reformer, and educationist, who was much ahead of his time. It was his inspiration that every parish should have a school for general education. Engrossing the founder’s grand vision and perceiving the need of the hour, St. Ann’s Public School was established in 1992. To facilitate the students with higher education, the syllabus was reallocated into the Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE), which has statutory recognition by India’s government in 1999, and the permanent affiliation was achieved from the council in the year 2003. During the quadricentennial time with God’s glorious presence, the School has seasoned multitalented and multi-skilled brains who have equipped prestigious positions in various alms of society.
