Computer Lab

Technological advancement has affected every sphere of life especially education. This has changed our perception of what a school should provide to its students. In times of booming technology the computer labs at Scottish International School provide the appropriate platform to the students to be future technocrats. The computer labs are used not just to hone the skills of computer geeks but also provide an exposure to the novices. School has two distinct, fully furnished, well ventilated, Wi-Fi connected modern ICT Labs facilitating its children to pace up with the fast growing technological world.

Library

Tranquility, the well resourced SIS library enables students to enrich and expand their horizons. It is constantly expanding its resource centre stocked with books, journals, videos, DVD’s and audio cassettes. The library is a major resource for all constituents of the School: students, faculty and parent members. It endeavours to provide students with opportunities to learn how to use materials in a variety of formats to access information so that they can continue with lifelong learning. SIS library is certainly the delight of every book lover.

Arts And Craft Center

Visual Arts, the well-equipped Art & Craft Centre, contains a variety of art and rich materiel for preparing the sculptures. Children are encouraged to develop their skills and talents from an early age. SIS believes in bringing out the creative best in its pupils.

Services

Career guidance and counseling services are offered to each and every student, especially to the one, who is at the threshold of making career choices. The career guidance program brings in awareness and required exposure in the fields of interest, so that a student can take informed decisions. At Scottish we have a regular counselor to cater to the needs of every individual student. This is backed up by regular educational trips to private and public sector organizations and regular aptitude tests conducted by professionals. Medical Room : SIS has a medical room with all the first aid facility available and we also have a visiting doctor. Regular medical check up and maintenance of its records is a feature of SIS curriculum. Transport : The school provides the transport facility in a best possible manner. Security : Security of the children is our prime concern. The school is 24*7 guarded by the security personnel under strict vigilance. All the Classes, Labs, Corridors, Assembly and Sports Grounds, Examination Control Room & Offices are equipped with high quality CCTV Cameras in order to avoid any kind of glitch/mishap and to have a good eye over the whole school premises.

TRANSPORT

Student can avail the school conveyance subject to the availability of seats. The routes of the school buses are drawn up and the parents should consult the School Transport In-charge for necessary details. 1.No student should board/get down from the bus while it is in motion. 2.No student should take out his/her hand/head from the bus window. 3.All the students using the school bus are expected to be on the right side of the Bus Stops at least five minutes before the arrival of the bus. 4.The bus will not wait for the late comers. 5.The front door of the bus is only authorized entrance and exit. 6.The drivers are authorized to stop the bus at the designated stops only, unless otherwise directed by the School authority. The list of stops is prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of all bus commuters. 7.Unauthorized persons are not allowed to travel by School Buses. 8.Students should not damage, disfigure or destroy school property. Cost of any damage to cushions, covers, or any other fitting, fixtures, etc. in the bus shall be recovered from the parents of the student(s) concerned. Indiscipline in the bus will not be tolerated and may lead to debarring the student from travelling in the bus or even discontinuation of the bus service for him/her. 9. The use of bus facility cannot be discontinued in the middle of a session.
