Curriculum

Pre-Primary Level

Helping the children express through arts, crafts and colours, children are given creative freedom, helping them to explore through carefully planned, activity based learning. Conceptual learning is encouraged through activities, field trips and outings. Emphasis is given to building confidence and self-expression through Rhyme time, Show and tell, Talent Shows and more. Guiding children in bringing out their best in social and emotional conduct through activities like art and craft, toy parties, color of the month and celebration of major festivals thereby giving children their space and at the same time helping them to learn.

Primary Level

The primary curriculum is based on the NCERT framework as per the CBSE syllabus. The subjects are 1st language – English II Language – Hindi, Kannada, Sanskrit, French and Mathematics – Development of number concepts, Elementary Geometry. Environmental Science and Social Science will introduce the world of science through activities, observation and discovery.

Middle Level

The three language policy of CBSE is followed by the school. Hindi, Kannada & Sanskrit / French are offered as the 3rd languages at this stage.

The students are encouraged to learn through experimentation and practical activities, and the curriculum is based on teamwork. The basic concepts of Math and Science are taught through hands on activities in Math and Science laboratories emphasizing on experiential learning.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and coding classes are introduced from grade 6 according to NEP.

Secondary Level

The School follows examination pattern as directed by the recent guidelines given by the CBSE which includes assessment of both scholastic and co-scholastic areas. The students will be assessed on a continuous basis in a cyclic manner in the various academic subjects. The evaluation pattern includes 4 unit tests for the junior classes and 4 term examination for the middle and secondary classes. Students will also be evaluated for classroom activities and work completion. The pattern of assessment comes into effect from the academic session 2017-2018.
