About Us

Royal Palace School is the creation of a group of well-wishers from Jamkhandi, a town with a population of around 1.5 lacks, situated in the district of Bagalkot in North Karnataka. The school is part of The Krishna Teer Rayat Sangh, Jamkhandi a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) which pioneered the idea of empowering rural citizens of Jamkhandi in sustainable developmental initiatives. Under the dynamic guidance and leadership of its chairman Mr. Siddu Nyamgouda, KTRS spearheaded a mass movement of social and economic importance in constructing a barrage where by around 45 villages which were once barren could finally get copious amounts of water throughout the year from the nearby Krishna River. The glorious results of an humble initiative started around 15 years ago is now reaping fruits, with Jamkhandi now becoming a prominent place in sugar cane growing center of North Karnataka. Krishna River is continuing to bring in the much needed growth and prosperity to this part of the state.
