CO-Curricular activity

Co-curricular activities form the core of students’ life at RIS since it helps to develop the all-round personality of students to face the undaunted task and turbulent world of future. The aim of curricular activities is to make the students fit for future and to develop a sense of competitive spirit, co-operation, leadership, diligence, punctuality, team-spirit as well as to provide a juncture for the development of their creative talents.

Acoustically treated music and dance rooms for training students in vocal a instrumental music, Indian classical, folk, western dance etc. prepare children for international platforms.

For developing aesthetic and creative skills the school provides scheduled activity periods for Art a Craft which includes batik, tie a dye, clay painting, embroidery, handicrafts, sculpture designing etc.

We offer a broad curriculum that includes a wide range of extracurricular activities besides academics. Physical and mental development is intended to happen in tandem through indoor and outdoor sports and games, dance, music lessons, dramatics, poetry recitation, debates, elocution, extempore, one act play, speech, group discussion, talk show etc. Specialized educators and coaches mentor children in all co-curricular activities and ensure that activities push kids in the right direction, promote real world experiences, foster friendship, team work, healthy competition, and build self esteem. It also enhances the talents and sparks the imaginations of our youngsters.
