Nalanda Vidyalay came into being on 1st June 2001 under the aegis of Late Lal Bahadur Shastri Smruti Education Trust. It is one of the most prestigious schools in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.The dream which was visualized by Late Prahladbhai Patel, an eminent educationist, has taken its shape into reality.The school is a two shift co-educational school having Gujarati  & English medium with classes from Nursery to Std.: XII in both science and common streams. Nalanda Vidyalay is affiliated to the Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB). It is recognized by the Department of Education, Govt. of Gujarat with over 4000 students.The school considers education to be a life-long process which should have a strong foundation. The goal of the school is to inculcate in the students a love for learning and a desire to excel at every level. The school also aims at equipping the students with the intellectual and practical skills that are necessary to meet the challenges in the future.
