 The development of industrial production and military capability are remarkable achievements of India, but even after independence, the results of development which were expected till now could not come. The main reason for this is the decline of human values, the continuous disregard for the values and the character degradation of the people. The solution of these problems is possible only through education, because cultural degradation is the root of the decline of the nation. Therefore, the country needs such schools, where with the knowledge of self-language, indigenous, self-culture and life philosophy, a sense of pride and self-respect can be awakened in the lives of boys/girls towards their great men, their creations and glorious tradition. Therefore, keeping this point of view, on the basis of ancient Gurukuliya system, Mother India Educational Institute was established at Balotra, Thar city of Barmer for social service in a new environment. Whose Bhoomi Pujan took place on 15 June 2001. The school is recognized by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) Ajmer. Well equipped science laboratories, music rooms and sports venues are available.
