Facilities

Library

Maria Montessori School has a spacious and well maintained library which maintains over 7000 books. The library subscribes to all the leading newspapers, magazines and journals. Reference books and materials for preparing for competitive examinations like entrance examinations, Olympiads etc are available for students. Students can avail the services of the library during their designated Library periods. We encourage our students to develop a reading habit, and to promote the same, we have organized a Reading Club which gives students additional privileges in the library. Entry to the library is restricted to the students and school staff. However, we are introducing an online catalog of books for the parents to browse.

Laboratories

The School has one of the best science and computer laboratories in the region. The Physics, Chemistry and Biology Labs make up the Science laboratories of Maria Montessori. The labs are well equipped with all the apparatus that are required to perform the practicals/experiments of the academic curriculum. The labs follow all the safety requirements so that the students and staff are free from the risk of getting injured in case of an accident. In addition to the array of laboratories in the school, we have also introduced a Math Laboratory to provide experiential learning to mathematics students. This laboratory is aimed at cultivating favourable attitudes towards mathematics. Students are encouraged to develop creative problem solving abilities, thus enabling them to personally experience the joy of discovering principles and relationships.

Smart Class Rooms

We understand that our students belong to various categories of learners like visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic and at MMCS, we ensure that we cater to all their academic needs. With changing trends in effective learning methods, our school has always strived to provide the best learning ecosystem for our students and thus set up smartclasses in classrooms. Smart classrooms improve class productivity by bringing abstract and difficult curriculum concepts to life inside classrooms with the help of professionally created multimedia and animated programmes. In addition to making learning an enjoyable experience for students, they also guide in improving their academic performance.

Daycare and Playschool

The Daycare and Play School of Maria Montessori provides the young toddlers and baby geniuses the perfect venue for fun filled education. Our specially designed Daycare and Play School Block provides the perfect platform for nurturing the tiny-tots of today into inspiring role models of tomorrow. We at Maria Montessori understand the value of ‘play’ in the life of an infant child because we believe that young children, who cannot read and write, express their feelings through play. Our well-trained Daycare and Play School staff will help the young ones in learning new skills that include making new relationships with other children and developing powers of concentration and language skills. According to the age and needs of the children, the staff will use a variety of teaching methods and curriculum that will encourage the young minds to use their full potential and to develop as independent learners. Children from age of 1 year to 3 years are eligible for admission into Daycare and Play School. The school also emphasizes on the diet and healthcare of the young children by advising parents on nutritious meals and servings.
