On the 15th Day of March, 2000, this school was established at Mangaldai, Darrang (Assam) on the basis of Maharishi's philosophy which has a holistic approach towards Ideal Education and which is basically meant for "Unfolding the full creative potential of every student through unified field based integrated system of Ideal Education." The fulfilment of the need of a secondary level school under CBSE curriculum at Mangaldai was the main objective of establishing this school. Initially, the school started at the rented premises of Mangaldai Law College. As the number of students grew, the school was shifted to NERIM campus at Mangaldai in 2002.
