Chiplun Education Society is a leading educational institution in Konkan. Education lovers from Dadar Mohalla, Desai Mohalla, Bahadur Sheikh, Jam-e-Masjid Mohalla, Muradpur, Mithagari Mohalla gathered more philanthropic individuals from Bhowtalcha area and established the institute in 1961 with the cooperation of all. Realizing that society cannot progress without education, the founders started a school in the year 1970 named Maharashtra High School Chiplun with two classrooms. He sacrificed his body, mind and wealth for the progress of the school. Considering the need of the time, in 1981 M.I. Wangde Nursery School and Haji Shahabuddin Wangde Primary School and in the year 2000 Haji A.E. Kalsekar Junior College of Arts and Commerce started. For the bright future of children etc. Facilitated religious education in collaboration with Faros Education Foundation for 1st to 10th semester English and Sanskarmay education. This is promoting the overall development of students.
