Sports bind people together. It plays a major part in the life of an individual. It goes beyond academics and yet is an integral part of a school life. Sports are often perceived as a competition, something that is meant for a select few. In an attempt to change this perception, the focus of the sports meet in the school is to have fun, doing ones personal best, playing rigorously and yet not allowing savage combativeness to take over.The absence of individual medals and trophies is accepted as a way of life. Energies are directed towards involvement in the games and enjoyment of that.The 'santrupti' fulfillment comes in helping each other where winning or losing alone did not matter. The spirit is one of encouraging camaraderie.Physical activities which are essential for good health forms an integral part of the curriculum. Children are encouraged to play regularly to improve their 'personal best', and develop basic skills in all the games which are played at school. There are trained physical education teachers for guiding the children. Annual sports day is organized in which all the members of the four houses participate to give their personal best
