Indian Institute Of Architecture Titled " GAME ON "

#PROUD_MOMENT “The Earth is what we all have in common.” —Wendell Berry The #Uttarakhand_Chapter of #IIA - Indian Institute of Architecture titled " GAME ON " Sporting Competition was hosted by Little Scholars. The event comprised of various matches like cricket, badminton & swimming with avid participation of students also, followed by enlightening discussions amongst the eminent architects and town planners. Our students of Engineering Graphics of class 12 also got an opportunity to club with the "IIA" members and had the privilege of participating in an online conference with IFC ( International Finance Corporation ), a World Bank group, promoting the idea of energy consciousness and water consumption in order to understand energies consumed pre and post construction, under the "EDGE" certification program. The students also presented their research on the alarming topic of "Sustainable Aqua". The research aims at management of water for a sustainable future with SDG 6 as the core concept. The research included assessing the conditions pertaining to water availability for human consumption, agricultural and industrial usage along with the treatment and release of waste water. The research was appreciated by the team of professional Architects and our students were given certificates by "IIA" for their commendable research.
