Classroom

A typical classroom of Little Pixies International School at both campuses ( Development Area and Ranka) is not just a room full of students, a teacher, doors and windows. It is a workshop of learning and leaders of tomorrow in making. Here teachers are facilitators of student learning and creators of productive classroom environment that develop multiple skills and competencies.Classrooms across the school are designed as airy and inviting spaces that encourage children to enjoy their learning. Visual display of children’s work is prominent, and children’s art work has pride of place across the school.Classrooms are generous in size and house a number of learning and play areas such as class libraries, toys, art and colourful study stations. State of the art projectors and smart boards across the school allow full use of technology to aid in learning. The classrooms are equipped with temperature metres along with centrally installed heating for winters, air-conditioners for summers and over all ventilation in classes for complete wellness of children.

Library

Libraries are at the heart of Little Pixies International School.Library spaces at both campuses ( Development Area and Ranka) are large, airy and colourful. The well stocked and attractive looking library houses a vast collection of books and digital resources for children to make reading their hobby and to grasp all the knowledge that the world of books offers. The aim of housing a comfortable and well equipped library is to instill good reading habits amongst children in a conducive environment.

Sports

Sports are an integral part of the holistic education of Little Pixies International School. It is a vital need to maintain good physical health and is a food for the timely development of a child, and is a way to brighter mind and soul.Sports is thus a mandatory activity at Little Pixies and includes Yoga, Physical Education Programmes, Athletics, Swings, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Badminton, Short-Put, Long Jump, Self-Defence, Taekwondo and many others indoor activities such as Chess, Carom, and many others.

Performing Arts

Performing Arts imbue self-confidence in children and manifest their inner talent of public speaking, public reciting and expressing themselves through acting, dancing and singing.Our educational experience is interwoven with a variety of arts taught in house in the school like Theatre, Drama, Classical Dance and Vocal Music (Indian & Western), Modern Dance & Vocal Music (Indian & Western), Choreography, Instrumental Music, Debating, Group Discussions, Story Telling, Public Speaking, Debating etc. providing children an early start to a confident and expressive self.

Transport

Little Pixies International School has a large fleet of buses and vans and each transport is designed for the safety and comfort of children of all ages. The buses and vans carry highly trained drivers, conductors and a support staff, supported by mobile phones and security features. The staff carrying children are all registered and verified with the local police for the highest safety and security of all children.

Medical And Counselling

Medical care of children is foremost for ensuring complete wellness of children at school. Little Pixies International School thus houses a medical room and health centre where children are provided with first aid by highly trained staff of school in an airy room. From time to time in a year, regular monitoring and health check ups are conducted at school, maintaining health records of every child that are examined by specialist doctors. Counsellers for mental wellbeing and for career guidance also serve the school.
