General Facilities

Cafeteria : The academy has a ventilated and highly spacious Cafeteria. Students as well as teachers regularly have their food with better taste in cafeteria. Proper hygiene and neatness are prime importance while preparing and serving the food. Class Room : School has spacious classes properly designed to meet the global standards. The rooms have been equipped with state of art facilities. The Plasma Boards/Digital Boards have been installed in classes for all age groups. The internet connectivity enable students to browse around the world thus bringing the experience of virtual world (practically) within the confines of classrooms. Digital Library : The purpose of such library is to give information economically to every student of our school. School has more than 10,000 e-based learning resources/books in its database. Doctor on Call : We have outstanding health care solution to tackle the health issues of our students. We have full time doctors working in School. Under Health & Medical Programme, regular checkups, health education, related counselling is being provided to on-roll students under well formulated plan. We provide e-prescription facility also. Gymnasium : We have multiplex gym with modern and latest equipment. The purpose is to develop and improve the strength in students’ health, helps them to acquire more sports skills and take live participation in the physical activity/ies. The Children learn the basics of living a healthy life style and reinforces the importance of staying active and fit. Hostel : Our school gives on-campus residential facility to students and has separate wings for boys and girls. We keep it under supervision 24×7 by employing separate wardens for boys as well as girls. The hostel staff ensures hygienic living with a prime focus on proper and better arrangement of food, water, electricity, medicine and doctors to avoid any untoward incident. Information/Knowledge Centre: In order to have easy access to information, the School has well established Knowledge Centre – an internet based system – to enable students, teachers, parents etc. To remain connected and share, receive, discuss information remotely by means of internet. The sole purpose of establishing the knowledge Centre is to enable the community of students, teachers, and parents to have fast solutions by promoting progress of all alike. The Centre provides training material, study material, links to important websites etc. The Centre is regularly updated to keep fresh and accurate information. Interactive Learning & Reading Tools / EduCom Smart Class EduCom smart classes are basically interactive classes based on usage of computer technology and relevant equipment including plasma board/s and Smart Assessment System (SAS) in all classes. It helps students to acquire understanding of the topic or subject effectively. It creates virtual world within the walls of classroom and thus enables or aid children in increasing the knowledge. SAS is a unique system enabling teachers to assess/ evaluate learning / progress of students. Under system, multiple choice questions are asked from students. With the hand held remote device/s, students answer the questions by pressing appropriate button. The data is likewise stored enabling teachers to generate reports of class/es subsequently. This system increases the speed of students and their mental alertness. Library (Media Centre) : Our library is a curated collection of information and other resources in the form of books, journals, periodicals etc. The sole purpose of school library is to provide access to school community (teacher, students etc.) to suitable information in the form of wide range of books and e-based resources. Media Centre/Library is a coordinating agent for all material used in school. Through library activity, school aims to inculcate book reading habits among students with the focus on intellectual content and information literacy besides serving as an agency to supplement information of subjects. The school has a wide range of books (apart from the books based on school syllabus) covering spectral subjects. It has more than 10000 (Ten Thousand) information resources besides periodical, journals, magazines etc. e-Based learning makes it convenient for students, teachers and parents alike to have easy access to learning resources. Media Rooms : Media rooms have been equipped with equipment based on latest technology including computers, broadband connection, multimedia projectors and variety of other smart additional equipment. Multi-Purpose Activity Hall : Multi-Purpose Hall is featured with equipment like lighting, speakers, stage, comfortable seats for different school/cultural events. Physics Lab : Physics is study of natural phenomenon. To comprehend those phenomena and verify them better, we have places called labs where we perform different kinds of experiments. The physics laboratory in our school is large and spacious enabling students to perform experiments in better way. It is equipped with quality apparatus for all experiments prescribed by school board/s. It has good space for related practicals which aid our students to perform practicals and understand them. Robotics : Robots are programmable machines or gadgets having ability to replace human beings by performing wide range of human activities. In order to keep up the pace with changing world, the school has provided for learning of Robotics as an option for interested students (3rd onwards). The learning of Robotics at elementary level fosters confidence in students and at the same time, it incorporates creativity and fun among them. It creates in them programming skills (right from infancy) and prepares them effectively for advancement in technologies in future. The school has well setup Robotics Lab to affect the success of the program. Seminar Hall : is featured with equipment having better audio and visuals qualities. It helps in conducting workshops and other programmes. Every event – be it seminar, inter school competition – are held here. The seminar hall is spacious and well designed. Indoor Play Areas : Indoor play areas have proven to be an excellent choice where children can have fun and be active. It also acts as an alternative for a very hot or rainy day where children have indoor spaces available to jump, crawl and do other similar activities. Indoor play areas are also important for the development of social skills by keep children healthy, active and encouraging creativity. Reading Rooms : Reading is one of the best habits. To develop it in the minds of children, we have sound proof reading rooms in order to avoid the outer disturbance. It also enhances their literacy skills. The students are provided with best reading materials to aid them in becoming better readers. Virtual Campus Tour : The school has virtual campus tour programme to enable students, their parents to see the campus any time from any location. It guides them through the places they live and learn, including dorm rooms, classrooms, widener library, the first-year dining hall and more. K.G Park : The aim of such park is to stimulate the healthy growth of each child’s intellectual, social, physical, emotional and ethical powers. Art Room : Art is very essential part of curriculum. We have most well-equipped art rooms where students explore their hidden talents as art encourages self expression and creativity. Labs

Biology Lab : is spacious, well ventilated and equipped with all modern apparatus and different kinds of specimen needed for doing practicals. It has latest technology based microscopes which help in finding the minute details about the organism like cells, cell walls and its other important components. Biotechnology Lab : Being a new field of science with great scope, Biotechnology is taught in our school. The lab is well equipped with latest instruments like laminar flow, cell counter, autoclave, distillation unit, refrigerated centrifugator, spectrophotometer etc. Language Lab : known by multiple names like Digital Language Lab, Multimedia Lab, Language Media Centre, Multimedia Learning Centre etc. Language Lab serves the purpose to involve students to actively participate in language learning and get more practice than individual classroom conditions. The school has well designed Language Lab (for learning language like English, French, Arabic etc.) using relevant components like Computer Systems, Headsets, Media Players, Recorders, Screens etc. The teachers and students are connected by LAN (Local Area Network) and other viable means. The Lab makes learning of language effective. The usage of Headsets makes it possible for students to speak simultaneously without distracting one another. Computer Lab : As this is the age of IT/Computer, having awareness and knowledge about computer, its hardware, software and other related things like use of internet etc. is highly vital for students. Our Computer lab is highly spacious to accommodate as many as students as possible. The labs are handled by a team of extremely professional persons. Chemistry Lab : This lab is also spacious, well ventilated and equipped with all modern apparatus needed for chemistry experiments. There is regular supply of gas, water and different kinds of acids, reagents required for performing experiments. Virtual Science Lab : Being first to introduce Virtual Science Labs, this approach gives hands on experience of learning the subject without many expenses. Detailed diagrams, illustrations or close up pictures allow students to virtually get inside a plant or animal part without actually doing it. Dissections in biology can be studied thoughtfully with a virtual hands-on sensation without the problem of odor and similarly can carry out an experiment on a chemical reaction without burns.
