A unit of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, K. V. Utarlai was introduced in the vicinity of desert city BARMER in 1982 to serve the needs of society, specially defence, since its inception. Due to its unique contribution in the field of education the vidyalaya was given the status of Model School by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in the year 1999.

Our Vision

To cater to the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-Military personnel by providing a common programme of education.To initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education and the National Council of Educational Research and Training etc.
