Ida Scudder School is a private, non-residential, co -educational school affiliated to the Council  for the Indian School certificate Examinations(CISCE) , New Delhi. The curriculum 

Prepares the children for the ICSE (STD 10) Examination and ISC ( STD 12) Examination conducted by the CISCE.

The CISCE was established in 1958 by University of Cambridge Local Examinations syndicate with the assistance of the Inter state Board for Anglo Indian Education. It is registered under the societies Registration  Act No,XXI  of 1860. The Delhi Education Act 1973,passed by the parliament .

The  academic standards and the quality of performance of pupils of CISCE affiliated  schools over the past decades have been acknowledged by UCAS,  an International accrediting Agency for School leaving qualifications for admission  to Undergraduate courses in the UK.This agency has granted equivalence    to the ISC to that of the senior School Examination of the University od Scotland. Pupil who have passed ISC (std 10) Examination do not have to obtain ‘A’ level qualification or complete bridging courses while seeking entry to Universites in the UK or  other Commonwealth countries.
