Admission Process

At iCUBE we believe that a personal interaction between parents, the prospective student and the school’s authorized representatives is of far greater value than any conventional admission test. Hence there will be 2 to 3 interaction with the parent during the admission process.

The process is aimed at giving us an insight into the type of education approach and environment you believe would be appropriate for your child to maximize his/her potential, while giving us a glimpse of the child’s strengths, learning needs and potential.

It also gives you, as parents, a first-hand opportunity to obtain an understanding of how our students and faculty engage with each other, our overall offering, curriculum and our education approach.

1. There are 2 ways in which you can initiate the admission procedure. You can either access the online Enquiry page or you can come for a Centre visit. In both cases, all the relevant details of the child and the parents are recorded in an enquiry form.
2. The next step will provide the prospective parents with a brief on the Montessori philosophy and method of education, iCUBE standards and health, hygiene, security and guided school tour. Parents are free to raise any other issues that they wish to discuss.
3. After the parents are satisfied with their preliminary interaction, a mail needs to be send by the parents to the school requesting to schedule a classroom observation of 15 to 20 mins.
4. On receipt of the classroom observation request, the school will revert with a confirmation on date/time of the same. Parents will also be sent an email on Web links/videos of Montessori method of education. Parents will have to read these sites to gain further awareness of the education method.
5. Parents will have to arrive on time for their classroom observation. Any delay will reduce the time in the classroom.
6. Post the observation in the classroom, parents will have to fill out a questionnaire pertaining to their understanding of the method of education and their expectations. The questionnaire will be discussed to ascertain and align expectations.
7. There will be an additional step of evaluation in case your child is 4 year and above, to ascertain and align the child to the appropriate level of learning.
8. Discussion from the parent questionnaire will go through an internal school management review. School reserves the right to admission and hence parents that receive a confirmation from the school can precede further to secure the admission form, from the school and complete the process.
9. Parents are expected to spend time during the first week of the settlement process when the child adapts to the new schooling environment.
