Robotics Lab

Science is all about understanding how things work around us and what better way to simulate the same by means of robotics. Over the past decade, the subject has taken the world by a storm and it continues to gain momentum. This lab endeavors to provide an effective experiential learning tool for students, using Kites Productions products, which would assist them in understanding the various concepts of science by means of implementing them in a controlled and guided environment.

English Edge Language Lab

English has fast become the language of choice for many Indians as the language is being chosen as the preferred medium of instruction across different verticals. Ensuring that students not merely focus on speaking fluently but also with the right diction the English Edge Language lab has been set up to improve proficiency in English language of the students by means of facilitating a fully functional language lab, which utilizes technology to impart well structured modules to students of different age group. Gwalior Public School Tikamgarh believes that an early sensitization to the subject would further facilitate logical and analytical thinking of a child and help him/her effectively translate the learning into success in many walks of his/her life.

Counseling Cell

The Counseling Cell under a qualified and experienced Counselor aims at strengthening the child's coping abilities to counter environmental stress, complex situations and the adolescent phase while growing.

The Consular, available on all school days helps students from all classes when referred to by teachers or parents.

Group Counseling

Equipping children with life skills is one of the most essential tasks at GPS. Programmes, Seminars, and Group Discussions are held on sensitive issues like HIV AIDS, Drug, Abuse, Gender Equality to create a strong awareness in the pupils.

Career Counseling

The impact of globalization has thrown up many options for living. At GPS, we feel such challenges can be faced well only when the discovery of one's resources is effectively facilitated. The Counseling Cell conducts career counseling sessions with the help of experts from respective fields, for the benefit of the students.

Clubs

1) Music Mania Club: (Indian & Western) This club aims at exploration into history of music, famous artists and their genres, learning instrumental/vocal music in its diversity, creating music and presenting it. 2) Gates Club: This club seeks an exploration into the ever – enlarging IT world, its diverse application for creative work designing for school events etc. 3) Remo Dancers Club: This club enthusiastically undertakes exploration into nuances of various dance forms, study of famous performers and history of dance alongside learning to dance, create and present performance. 4) Kala Fun Club: This club is dedicated to exploration into different mediums of creative craft work using cloth, paper mache, metal, threads, beads and other interesting materials capable of being moulded into different shades and patterns. Also, creating different materials / installations to develop the aesthetics of the school. 5) Fit n Fine Club: This club is essentially for the outdoor loving students with exposure to yoga building on physical fitness and leading to organization and participation in various yoga based events. The students can opt for (i) Yoga (ii) Table Tennis. 6) Readers Club: This club is just perfect for voracious readers with opportunities to indulge in a multitude of activities like Wall Magazine, Literary Quiz, Book Jacket Designing, Slogan Writing etc. which will not be limited to the constraints of the library, Ignited Minds. 7) Kalam Innovation Club: - It is the science of how to control electric energy, deals with electronic circuits. Introduction of basic electronics components (Multi meter, bread board, transistor, resister, capacitor etc). Innovative projects based on these components. 8) Robotics Club: Robotics is a wonderful creative space for the young technocrats and gizmo geeks of the school to explore the domain of robotics and seek ways to use it creatively for new thoughts and areas. The club offers hands on experience to work with equipment as per principles of Science and also seek to build ability to manipulate robotic equipment to explore solutions to issues of real world. 9) Go Green Club- Motivates the students to keep their surroundings green and clean by undertaking plantation of trees. Students learn to imbibe habits and life style for minimum waste generation, source separation of waste and disposing the waste to the nearest storage point. We sensitize students to minimize the use of plastic bags and conserve electricity by switching off the appliances when not in use.

Safe School .... Secure Transport

Safety and security are given prime importance. We have qualified doctor & nurse at our Medical Centre. For emergencies, we have well equipped ambulances on campus and have tied up with local hospitals for emergency case. Health records are meticulously maintained for all students of the school. The campus security staff is supported by technical systems like surveillance cameras that meet international safety norms. The school runs a fleet of self-owned buses/van. With speed governors and GPRS system in place, each school bus follows standard safety guidelines. Trained staff-a driver, conductor and teacher escort in each bus is provided with mobile phones to stay in constant touch with school authorities and parents. Transport facility is available for Tikamgarh & adjoining areas. Parents are requested to ascertain availability of bus facility for the area of their residence before completing admission formalities. Bus facilities are a privilege and not a right. The school does not guarantee provision of bus facility to all students and all areas of residence.
