As children move into junior class, they display ability towards gross motor skills such as hopping, balancing on one foot etc. Children learn to recognize the importance of rules and customs, show understanding towards others and to learn how to be controlled in their own behavior. They become aware of their environment and are able to relate the outside world with their classroom learning.
In Senior KG, the focus is on strengthening the concepts learnt in the previous years. They explore their environment in depth and ask questions. Their reading, writing and communication skills improve. They are engaged in simple logical thinking and problem solving exercises.
