Smart Class

Educational smart class is a technology oriented initiative for schools. It provides tools and contents for inter-active self-paced learning by students. Smart class is available for teacher and students over the web, and can also be installed on the school's local server for faster and more reliable access to the content. The content available consists of peda- gogically sound and visually rich curriculum resources. This content can be streamed into the classroom and shown by teachers in the classroom to make abstract concepts real and class. What is its purpose? The purpose of the smart class program is to empower teachers with technology right inside their classroom. The program enables teachers to use digital resources such as graphics, animations, 3D images and video clips in addition to the chalk and talk methods of teaching in their day to day teaching life. This results in a completely new multi- sensory learning experience for students and helps them to improve their academic performance. This way classrooms turns into lively learning platforms for students and the teachers.

Class Rooms

In our classrooms natural lighting and ventilation has been taken into account. Each classroom is provided with a white board, space for displays. For the primary section, particularly, the furniture and equipment has been chosen with utmost care and every room is provided with classroom resources necessary for each age level.

Laboratories

Modern and well-equipped science laboratories are available in the school.The Labs have the requisite essential equipment for conducting practicals for the integrated science course at the secondary school stage, and for the Physics, Chemistry and Biology practicals at the Senior Secondary Stage, as per the requirement of the new curricula and scheme of studies, laid down by the CBSE. The students themselves have preserved a large variety of specimens in the laboratories and take keen interest in making science projects.

Computer Laboratory

The aim of computer education in the school is to get the children acquainted with the latest in computer technology and to assist in removing their introversion of the machines. The intention is to make the pupils user-friendly so that they can make best use of computers in the future. Adequate exposure is given to them in Internet, hardware and software technology. The school has installed a very powerful, highly technical, state-of-the-art computer laboratory with a provision for a computer with TFT's between every two children. The computers are used for education, accountancy, and management information systems. The computers are networked on LAN with high speed servers and Multi-media capability, attached with colour printers and broadband internet connections. The school uses the latest educational aids such as overhead projectors, multimedia technology, Compact Disc players, video cameras and audio systems as well.

Library

Library is the heart, mind and soul of an educational institution and a fountain-head of innovativeness, inspiration and insight both for the students and the faculty. Learning and library are to each other as the light to the lamp.

Transport

The school provides transport facilities to students on request, for which they have to pay reasonable charges. At the time of admission whether he/she will avail transport facility of school or will use own conveyance should be notified.
