Facilities

Laboratory

The school has well furnished and well equipped computer lab with latest software technology. It offers major computational facilities for all subjects. To integrate information technology into present curriculum, the lab has internet facility connecting our students to the knowledge world. Porukara has spacious, well-equipped separate labs for computer,physics, chemistry and biology. Each lab is complete in its setting and instruments and are well maintained under the supervision of the lab assistants.

Library

The school library consists of more than 6000 books of various subjects. It consists of reference section, general section and periodical section. Students enrich their reading habit by reading a number of newspapers, periodicals and books suiting their age.

Transport

The school provides transportation facilities to students. The parents who want to send their children to school by school bus should apply for it to the Principal at the beginning of the academic year. The school bus facility or its discontinuance is not admissible for any part of a term. One monthโ€s notice in writing shall be given for discontinuance of the bus facility. Requests for change of boarding points shall be made in writing one month in advance.

Civil Service Coaching

The academic year of 2013 - 2014 witnesses the beginning of Civil Service Coaching in the Porukara Campus. The school management has ventured into this programme for giving the students an opportunity to spread their wings and orient themselves towards the Indian Administrative Services. Students of Std VIII - X who have registered will be given classes on specified Saturdays by eminent persons. Students of VI and VII will be given foundation courses where in their personality development and skills development will be taken care of, along with other classes, equipping them better for their future performance.

Childrens Park

Childrens park including swings, slides, climbing frames and more, provides the students fun-filled, loving and conducive environment to suit their needs.

CCA

Co-curricular activities play a very significant role in education.They help us get mental rest and also helps us stay physically fit and healthy. Being only brilliant in academics doesn't help a student become a responsible citizen of a country.A student should also be equally talented in other fields and even if not, they should atleast pay some interest in them.It's because being both academically and co-curricularly talented helps a student to face the world.This also helps in developing his/her personality.
