About Us

Divine Mercy School, a school with a difference, was established in the year 2004 in the interior areas of Domjur, Howrah to spread the light of knowledge and wisdom. The school aims to instill thoughtfulness, humanity, compassion and citizenship which will transform each student into an asset for the society. With the inspiration of Mother Teresa and with her benevolent love and guidance, our respected founders Mrs. and Mr. Ladia decided to lay the foundation of the institution.

As the saying goes ‘Slow and Steady wins the race’, similarly Divine Mercy School has slowly and gradually blossomed from a small bud to a flower and, in its upcoming blossoming years, it has not only achieved excellence but also new promising heights in the field of co-curricular activities. In the years to come, we have set the sky as our limit and are aiming to provide sound, value based education by inculcating in the students the virtues of piety, discipline and self-esteem

Divine Mercy School is spread over a total area of 1.5 acres. The school building consists of two playgrounds, two auditoriums, a multipurpose hall, lift, school canteen, laboratories, music and dance room, infirmary, a counseling room and cafeteria.
