LABORATORIES

Well-Equipped Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science Lab and Teacher’s Resource Room are constantly buzzing with activity.DAV being Futuristic in approach, boasts of all the latest technology and innovations in the lab. Each lab is supervised by an efficient and vigilant assistant, who keeps guiding the students about observation of the lab etiquette. School provides to its students well equipped Science Lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, and Physics Lab for learning by doing.

Computer Lab

The school offers some of the best hi-tech labs in the city with sufficient numbers of computers and internet facility. Computer education is an integral part of education from class I to class XII. However computer handling starts from nursery classes through games.

Library

THE KNOWLEDGE CENTRE With its comprehensive collection of academic and reference books and its wide range of journals and periodicals school library provides an updated knowledge centre for the staff and students. The library incorporates computer network and internet access which is available throughout the week. A varied collection of books, reference material, CDs are available for the students which help them in preparing for various competitive exams.

Smart Classrooms

The purpose of the smart class provision is to empower teachers with technology right inside their classrooms to use digital resources such as graphics, animations, 3D images and video clips in addition to the traditional methods of teaching in their day to day life. Through Smart Classes and e-curriculum the learning becomes more meaningful for the students.

Sports and Games

School has a play ground of its own land and is being utilized for various sports & games- indoor and outdoor. Students actively participate and have brought laurels at district level, state level and national level in Cricket, Chess, Basketball, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Kho-Kho & Badminton. PT displays, Yoga and Athletics are our regular features. During summer vacations our students avail the facility of sports training in - Cricket, Chess, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, T.T. and Yoga.

Classrooms

Thematic class presentations involve the participation of the entire class, whose objective is to boost confidence and self-worth among the children. Essay writing, recitation, music, dance and art competitions are a regular feature where children get valuable exposure under the guidance of teachers. Physical Health Education plays an important role in the education process and hence is well balanced in their curriculum. It is an inter disciplinary programme involving children in PT exercises and games integrating their learning of Mathematic and Geography. The school inculcates moral values in every child. Moral Education is a part of the curriculum. Mass Havans are organized at regular intervals.
