Beachwood School started as Kids Camp – the kindergarten section – with less than 10 staff and students on 4th August 2004 after the school was inaugurated by Shri. Bansa Gopal Chowdhury, MIC, Higher & Technical Education and Chairman, Asansol Durgapur Development Authority on 17th July 2004. Today the school is a full-fledged day and boarding school with nearly 450 students and staff.
