HOUSE SYSTEM

The Houses compete in a number of sporting, academic and cultural activities for points. Each win gains House points. Each year the winning House receives the overall school championship and other prizes on school annual day. The House system is an integral and vibrant part of the school's culture. The core values are explained as self-development, intellectual empowerment and life-long learning within the diversity and strength of our one community. The four 'cornerstones' of Cambridge High School are learning, tradition, respect and quality co-education. Together, these aspects make up the core values, philosophy, ideology of the school and they give us our clear direction and pathway.

Academic And Curriculum

The students of The BTS are encouraged to develop the habits of mind in a joyful learning experience. To that end, school offers a broad, rich and challenging curriculum. Academic offerings are traditional in structure yet, with a broad exposure to the liberal arts like dance, drama, singing, art & craft, designing, animation, adobe, sports academies and selective opportunities to pursue individual interests.School curriculum can be demanding, but the culture of the school is also caring and supportive. Students build personal bonding with their teachers. The atmosphere is one of cooperation and a shared endeavor in the pursuit of learning and growth. Extra help outside of the classroom is an important element of the school culture as teachers recognize their students’ individual needs and learning styles. We believe that students learn best when they can trust in their teachers’ kindness and understanding and when the classroom is a place for all questions and ideas. The underlying philosophy of multiple intelligences is evident in the curriculum as it weaves its way through inter curricular links.
