PLAY FIELD

B.S.S. Public school has a very big playground. It has a huge boundary wall. There were many trees around it under which students sit and talk on matters of interest to us.. There are many flower plants too. We have a children playing area in a corner which has some swings and slides for small children. Students use the playground for our physical training exercise and drills. They also play many games like kho kho, kabaddi, foot ball, volley ball, hand ball etc. on the ground. Sometimes the inter school games are also played in our playground. B.S.S. gives special importance to games and so it insists that all students should take part in all games. During the lunch break, students sit in the shade of the tree and eat our snacks there. Our school annual sports function is held on our playground. Even on the Republic day and Independence Day, we arrange flag hoisting program on our ground. The Play field provides the playing facilities for different age groups of children. For nursery and preparatory classes the students have excellent facility of Electronic swings, Kangaroo & Train. In the play field they can learn about different types of birds, animals and other things by real portraits and status of the entities. Small bicycles, see-saw slides, swings and basket ball facilities entertain the students. For upper class students, there is a separate play field which includes facilities like badminton, cricket, volley ball, basket ball and other play things separately for boys & girls.

Computer Lab

The Computer Lab. has modern computers to cater to the needs of the students. Our aim is to empower students by enabling them to build their own applications. Students learn how to process words and numbers, analyze data, communicate ideas effectively and make the optimum use of computer resources. The senior class students learn fundamental concepts of computing using object oriented approach in one computer language. Each student gets a computer in their practical class to experience the practical side of computer applications. Computer education in school helps the children to get access to the extensive world of information. Students can find any information that they desire with the help of a computer. Almost every school nowadays has a computer lab of their own. Such labs are quite imperative in educating the children about the wise and efficient use of the computer. Children can learn to make various subject related researches using the computer; also they can use it to make various projects in school. Likewise BSS also has a very high facility computer lab. The computer lab has a great many utilities which help us in understanding the various aspects of the subject. It also helps in teaching the students about the versatile nature of the computers. It is actually the same multi faceted nature of these machines that make them highly important for the students. Whether it is for research purposes, or for creating a digital document on it or for taking out a print out of your document, computer labs are one resource that are critical for almost everyone in the school.

Classroom

B.S.S. Public School has a quite spacious class rooms. It is airy and well-ventilated. It has four ceiling fans in it which are sufficient for all the students sitting on 40-45 chairs and desks which are installed in the room. There is also a noiseless desert cooler installed in one corner of the room. The Teaching-Learning pedagogy used in the classrooms is IT enabled and some classrooms are fitted with Louch-Screen projectors, OHPs and sound systems. The class rooms can accommodate 40 students in one class and tutorial classes are designed for strength of 30-40 students.

Library

The School provides a well maintained library with varieties of books. The students for play group to senior secondary classes have all the facilities to enjoy book reading in the library. The school library has a rich collection of informative and interesting books in English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Mathematics, Physical Education, Commerce, Economics, Art and Enclyclopaedias. The school library is a good way to give general knowledge to the boys. Students beget studious habits. It creates a taste for good books after school life. Biographies from character of the students. the library creates love for books among the weak students. It gives chance to make best use of the leisure time. It gives us day-to-day news of the world. Different reference books and dictionaries make our library very rich. Our school library is a place of great attrition for students as well as teachers. Most of the students devote their vacant periods to reading newspapers and magazines. this has helped a lot in improving the school discipline. Teachers to spend their spare time in the library. They refresh their knowledge. Thus high educational standards in our school are the result of an excellent library.
