Art is the foundational component of our lives that makes us uniquely human. Moving beyond verbal language, it has the pivotal to be the pivotal mode of uninhibited self - expression and amazement for a child.
Thus to enhance the artistic skills of the students school has a Well -equipped " Art & Craft " lab where the students learn the intricacies of various forms of art as well as craft activity regularly with a special focus on grooming children , as per their interest .
The creative Arts club actively host exhibitions and exhibitions and competitions of artwork produced by children on a regular basis and the children are encouraged to work and experiment with various mediums like oil , water , charcoal , crayon etc. Children are encouraged to participate in state , National and international Level Competitions , thus motivating and encouraging the budding artists.
Clubs and forums provide the students a platform to sharpen their skills and work towards common goals.The clubs enlisted below encourage participation of students under the experienced mentorship of faculties and House masters.
Various inter house programs are conducted to develop sporting quality for their holistic development.The school has been divided into four houses - Netaji (Red), Laxmibai (Blue), Gandhi(Green) & Sarojini (Yellow). Every student from class I onwards is placed in one of these houses. Each house is headed by a Captain and a Vice-captain. A member of the staff, assisted by other teachers, acts as the House Warden. Points are awarded to students throughout the year for extra curricular activities, games and sports. At the end of the year, the house gaining the highest number of points is awarded a running trophy. Inter-house competitions are organized in Games & Sports, Dramatics, Debates, Quiz, Art & Craft, etc.
The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E), which is the largest board of school education in the Country and an autonomous body under the supervision of HRD, Govt. of India.
