Activities

The Agrasain Balika Siksha Sadan feels the necessity of the overall development of students before they make theirforay into the professional world. In order to achieve this objective, several co-curricular activities are included in the curriculum and students are expected to earn credits for the same. Some of these activities include rural/urban internships, industrial orientation, industrial training, seminars, debates, field trips and project work, among others.

To develop student’s personality, initiative and originality, enough scope is provided for everyone to take part in numerous co-curricular activities like making Fancy Wax lamps, Rakhi, Painting, Singing, Instrumental Music, Dancing. Computer Programming, Sports and Games, Cookery, Paper cutting, Scouting etc.

Additional training in child care and nursing of old and invalid will be imported to every student with due importance to motherhood and her role at the centre of all activities in the family as a housewife. Debates, Quiz Competitions, Exhibitions on Science, Interior Designing, Art and Craft, Painting, Gardening etc. are organized periodically to create interest in the younger generation and develop a sense of competition among the students. Student and Staff picnic/excursions are planned to provide entertainment and diversion from the busy academic schedule.

Every student is expected to take part in all the various co-curricular activities of her class. Senior students are encouraged to take juniors along with them to organize cultural events, function and celebrations.

Every student is expected to participate in small functions organized in the school campus duly authorized by the Principal.
