Co-curricular Activities

We at Woodlands reflect the kaleidoscope of taking up adventures, creativity and positive approach for young minds. The school focuses on guiding the students to become well rounded in curricular as well as co-curricular activities by maintaining a close eye on their emotional, social and physical needs. To fulfill these needs the school has different clubs/societies to educate, enlighten and sensitize students about various issues.

Sports

Sports are an integral part of our curriculum and help our children to grow holistically. The school is constantly striving to provide training and better opportunities in the field of sports, thus motivating the children to make meaningful contributions on the sports front. To keep the children accentuated with Nature and to teach them self-discipline, various inter house tournaments like basketball, cricket, volleyball, badminton, kho kho are organized every year. Other activities such as ‘cross country run’, ‘hiking’, ‘run for fun’ are also conducted during the course of the year. The school has a well-organized Physical Education Department, affiliated with Department of Youth Services and Sports, Government of J&K.
